Gattaca (1997)
Gattaca is a biopunk science fiction story set in a dystopian future society, driven by liberal eugenics. Compared to genetically-enhanced babies, ‘natural born’ humans are the underclass, only fit for menial jobs. The story raises questions about the menacing potential of reproductive technologies, and explores the indomitability of the human spirit.

Monsters (2010)
Strange new Strange new life forms begin to appear in Mexico after a NASA deep-space probe crashes over Central America. Half of Mexico is quarantined while the U.S. and Mexican armies attempt to contain the alien creatures. Stuck in the ‘Infected Zone’, the story follows Andrew and Samantha in their attempt to get back home in one piece. Will they ever make it back?


Tron Legacy (2010)
20 years after his father’s mysterious disappearance, tech-whiz Sam Flynn stumbles upon a concealed computer laboratory and finds himself sucked into the Grid, a virtual universe within the computer. There, he reunites with his father who shares secrets of digital perfection and the potential to unlock mysteries in science, religion and medicine. So begins a perilous journey across a virtual landscape complete with futuristic weapons and vehicles, to escape the dangerous world they created.

I Am Number Four
Extraordinary teen John Smith is a fugitive on the run from ruthless enemies sent to destroy him. Changing his identity, moving from town to town with his guardian Henri, John is always the new kid with no ties to his past. In the small Ohio town he now calls home, John encounters unexpected, life-changing events, his first love, powerful new abilities and a connection to the others who share his incredible destiny. Will John ultimately embrace his full abilities and overcome his enemies? Can he reunite with the rest of them who shares the same destiny?
